DR. ALVAR GARCÍA
Training
The Dr. Alvar García studied at the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon, one of the most recognized universities in Mexico in the field of medicine.
Later he entered the specialty of General Surgery, and then subspecialized in Plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery at that university, where he served as chief resident.
He continued with his studies abroad where he made several fellowships in which he trained with renowned doctors. Accepted at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (UPMC) conducted a rotation in Body Contour Surgery by Dr. Peter Rubin and Dr. Dennis J. Hurwitz, pioneers in the field.
Subsequently he continued his training with Dr. Bahaman Guyuron in Cleveland, Ohio in the field of Nasal Surgery (Rhinoplasty) and of Surgery to correct the Migraine. He completed his training with Dr. James Stuzin in Miami, Florida with whom he studied advanced techniques for Facial Rejuvenation (Face Lift).
He is an active member of the Mexican Association of Plastic Surgery (AMCPER). It is certified by the Mexican Council of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. As well as the College of Plastic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgeons of Nuevo León.
